Did you know all our senior clients get a FREE family session as our gift to them!?!? Why? Because my momma heart knows that while your kids are, of course, always your kids, their senior year is the last year they are really living in the space of being your children under your ‘rule’ so to speak. This year is when they are on the border between childhood and adulthood and they’ll be taking a big step soon into their very own lives.
We always think about adding portraits when we add children to our family with newborn portraits (have an adorable one of those sessions coming up for you soon) but what about one final family portrait before they branch out on their own fork of the family tree. One last portrait where they are just your baby before they are a partner or spouse or mom/dad in a few years.
I had the chance to photograph Peyton’s senior portraits last year and had just as much fun on their family session this winter. If it’s time to create your own family portraits before the kid(s) leave the nest, I’m ready!
