| Kaylan | Central A & M Senior 2017 |

It’s Kaylan’s time in the spotlight today! We split Kaylan’s senior session between some time here in the studio and some time at and around her home for a little personal touch. She brought loads of personality to the session with her sunglass collection and paid special tribute to her cousin including his jersey and truck for some truly meaningful and memorable portraits for her and her family.

It seemed fitting to share her portraits today after the cubs win too!

| Hannah | Senior Class of 2017 |

It’s time to show off Hannah’s session!!! Hannah’s a senior at Warrensburg-Latham High School this year and she was so fun to work with! We kicked off her session near downtown Decatur and even included her adorable and sweet dog, Mellow.

Once we finished up downtown, Hannah and I headed over to the Scovill Zoo gardens to work in some beautiful nature/color to her session and even got a little sunset before the clouds rolled in.

| Jaxson | Maroa-Forsyth Senior Class of 2017 | Decatur IL |

Take a look at Jaxson! Our latest Maroa-Forsyth High School senior class of 2017. His order is about to go home today so it seemed like a good time to show him off on the blog.

Jaxson’s session worked out perfectly…. we were afraid we might get rained out but decided since we were starting in the studio to go for it and see if we could outlast the rain (and if not, just reschedule the location portion of the session). Well, not only did we outlast the rain, but we got some amazing clouds/lighting in the process.

Jaxson and his dad kicked off the session solo in the studio and were prepped with outfits carefully prepared but with instructions from his mom to photograph him as he came which was awesome! Mom’s take note, it’s ok if your senior wears cutoff shirts and sweatpants daily we will absolutely photography them as they are.

| Kayle | Mt. Zion Senior Model Class of 2017 |

It’s Kayle’s day in the spotlight today!!! This gorgeous gal is one of our Class of 2017 Senior Models and I’ve had so much fun photographing her over the past few months. We started on a CRAZY windy day at the Decatur Airport and had some fun with our parachute dresses, she rocks the runway look like a pro!

Most of our favorite images from Kayle’s session were at the always beautiful Allerton Park, her outfits meshed perfectly with the variety of scenery at Allerton and we have to give a huge shout out to Katie F at Mint Salon for doing a fabulous job on Kayle’s hair and makeup too. We finished out Kayle’s last session with a beautiful and personal location – her grandparent’s farm. Though central Illinois offers a variety of beautiful locations, parks, etc nothing beats a location that’s part of your family! We had a gorgeous day (a little HOT but we survived!), pretty evening light and perfect scenery at the farm. The images at the farmhouse are probably my absolute favorite from all of Kayle’s sessions.

| Kyle S | Senior Portraits Warrensburg IL |

It’s time to show off one of our latest Warrensburg-Latham High School Seniors! I’m excited to have been working with WLHS for the past 4-5 years to produce their senior yearbook portraits along with dance pictures. It’s fun for me to meet so many talented young seniors throughout their senior year!

Kyle is one of the WLHS class of 2017 seniors! My favorite part of his session was how excited his family was about the experience. He’s the oldest so it was the first time around for the senior portrait experience and not only did Kyle’s momma and younger brother come along for session but his grandma and grandpa did too!

It really is an EXPERIENCE and including the whole family is something I love! We’re already planning family portraits for them and before they left grandma said I better stick around because they have another coming up in just a few years. That is one of my all time favorite things to hear from families. That not only did they love what we did for their current senior but we are already planning their next, that means the world to me!
